‘V-Suite’ Visibility
Through many years of working with mental health trusts we built, with their input, a mental health flow tool to track every service user journey to provide operating model visibility. This has developed into a visibility suite (‘V-Suite’) covering all-age services that we can quickly deploy using a Trust’s MHSDS activity dataset, which we also map with a Trust’s trial balance (financial ledgers).
The V-Suite delivers the understanding of pathway and individual service efficiency and efficacy that is essential to both target and monitor high impact change.
Change Expertise
We combine market leading visibility with subject matter and change facilitation expertise. The starting point is staff engagement, we will typically deploy a ‘4Ns’ approach to carefully listen to staff in affected services to understand and play back the things that they do and do not want changed. This is essential for building rapport and trust.
Triangulating data insights with staff interviews and process walk-throughs gives us an evidence-based starting point. Once a single source of truth is agreed, we can shift to building consensus on the future state and the route to reach it.
Healthcare improvement projects commonly fail for one of three reasons:
